Ms. Zuniga is an associate attorney with Thomas, Soileau, Jackson & Cole, L.L.P. She graduated from Baylor Law School in 2018, where she helped found the Hispanic American Law Student Association and tried civil and criminal cases while enrolled in its rigorous and renowned Practice Court Program. Ms. Zuniga successfully sat for the July 2018 Texas bar exam, and returned home to Shreveport, Louisiana. She served as a law clerk to the Honorable Katherine Dorroh and Honorable Mike Pitman in the First Judicial District Court and was admitted to practice in Louisiana after sitting for the February 2019 Louisiana bar exam. Prior to joining the firm in February 2021, Ms. Zuniga practiced in another civil defense firm in Shreveport.
Ms. Zuniga was recently elected Treasurer of the Women’s Section of the Shreveport Bar Association, and currently serves as the Secretary of the Shreveport Bar Association, Young Lawyers Section and on the Young Lawyers Committee of the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel. In her spare time, Ms. Zuniga enjoys running and competes in local races in Shreveport throughout the year.
